Finance Min, central bank to draft credit rates limits for regions

MOSCOW, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has asked the Finance Ministry and the central bank to design measures to limit rates of banking credits for Russia’s regions until February 12, as seen by PRIME on the government’s Web site on Wednesday.

In December, President Vladimir Putin authorized the government to offer such measures until March 1. He also asked regional governments to solve problems with their banking debts restructuring as soon as possible.
